Let us all come together to celebrate pride, freedom, and love—on the water and along the canals—during the Canal Parade. Some years everything goes to plan, some other years there are "traffic delays" because of broken boats on the canals. Click here for the list of participants and their order in the float.

Please note: First boats reach the start of the Prinsengracht approximately after the official start. Nowadays, the Canal Parade is a colourful party where everyone can be themselves and the event is one of the biggest events on the Amsterdam canals. This colourful parade will be held for the 29th time in and was formerly known as the Gay Parade.
The boat parade will sail through Amsterdam's canals on Saturday 1 August Will you be there again!. Note that not all trams will be able to run their normale route because of the expected crowds. However, it gets extremely busy—especially on bridges and quays—so plan to arrive early.

Amsterdam will host the World Pride next year. After the parade, the celebration continues with street parties kicking off around in various locations throughout the city.
